Where to go Kitesurfing in December?

A Christmas getaway to celebrate this incredible sport is always a great idea, and the good news is that you’re spoilt for choice too. So many spots are pumping in December that the choice is almost limitless, all you need is some sound advice to make the right decision!

While the Brazillian season is coming to an end, it’s still scoring over 80% windy days at most spots, and it will be quieter too, so there is more space in the lagoons. Aruba, Barbados and the Grenadines are all offering decent wind stats with the added bonus of decent waves in Barbados too. The Fremantle Doctor in Western Australia is in full effect, this sea breeze blows almost every day down under on the west coast around the Perth region. As you head north to Lancelin and Geraldton, it gets stronger, and you’ll find great waves too, equally if you head south the Margaret River the wind might be a little less, but the swell will be pumping, and the wine will be excellent. Cape Verde, Cabarete and the Turks and Caicos are all starting to come alive too!

With so many choices on offer, you’ll really want to drill down on the spots to make sure you pick the right one for your kite holiday! Good thing we have some fantastic filters to help you make a tough decision! Choose the wind, waves, flat water, water temperature, nightlife and even the standard of the Internet that you need to enjoy your trip and let our software do the rest!
