August is the peak of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s a popular time to go hunting for wind, with plenty of thermal effects making kiting every day of the month a distinct possibility. Enjoy a summer session and finish it off by watching the sunset with a cocktail on the beach, kite holidays don’t get much better.

If you want guaranteed wind at this time of year, looks towards Brazil, Morocco, northern Madagascar and the Caribbean.
