The #1 Kiteboard race in the Southern Hemisphere, the Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton, had its 7th edition on Sunday 4 December. 135 kiters on foils, twin tips, race boards and surf boards took off from Rottnest Island and records were broken when the fastest arrived at Leighton Beach Fremantle in just 19 minutes. Frenchman Nico Parlier smashed Olly Bridge’s previous record.
