Ozone’s latest rider news spans a youth world title, a podium finish in challenging North Sea conditions, a high-speed Afterburner session with Kai Lenny and a new addition to the team.

Tommy Borgi Wins the U16 World Championship

The 2026 GKA Youth Twintip World Championships brought together 61 young riders from 18 nations in St Peter-Ording, Germany, with a new format combining Big Air, Airstyle and Freestyle.

At 14 years old, Tommy Borgi won the U16 Boys title after a standout performance across the event. He rode the Vortex V2 12m² for most of the competition, switching to the Mach1 13m² shortly before the final as the wind became increasingly unstable.

For Tommy, the result marks another step in a rapid progression from beginner to world champion in five years. His next goal is the King of the Air: “My dream is to win it,” he said. Read Ozone’s full report from the GKA Youth Twintip World Championships.

Maja Ceran also delivered a strong performance, taking second place in the U19 Girls division. The freestyler embraced the difficult conditions and gained valuable experience competing at this level.

“I enjoyed every trick because I had never done freestyle in such strong wind before, so every trick I landed felt like a win.”
