Surfing with a kite presents a considerable challenge to the rider, the ocean is ever-changing and moves fast, the wind is a force in constant motion and all the while you need to control the kite and the board to maximise every second of the wave. Our goal with the BANDIT-S was to create a kite that allowed the rider to focus on riding the wave and not worry about the kite.
The bar pressure on the BANDIT-S is very light; you never really feel the kite pulling or any fatigue on the arms. With just small input from your fingertips, you can engage the incredibly responsive steering. The leading edge is thinner, allowing the kite to twist, and the wingtip shape further enhances the response. This is perfect for onshore riding conditions where you need to steer the kite around the wave as you ride. The turn is pivotal, meaning you can quickly redirect the kite for a powerful bottom turn, allowing you to follow your surfing lines with precision.
Power is nothing without control; when you push the bar out on the BANDIT-S, you can completely dump everything in the kite. This instantly releases any pull from the kite, allowing you to truly surf the wave from top to bottom. It’s impressive how it changes the feeling of your board; suddenly, you will find yourself free on the wave. From sharp snaps in the pocket to cranking a bottom turn at Mach 10, the kite will deliver the exact amount of power and response you need the instant you demand it.
Stability was another area we worked on allowing the BANDIT-S to drift perfectly down the line in side-off conditions. The kite is lighter this year, thanks to the new 130g Teijin Dacron with ripstop material we are using. Not only does this help with the kites ability to drift, but it also improves the turning speed. You’ll find the BANDIT-S is always precisely where you want it to be in the window at all times.
One of the best qualities of the new BANDIT-S is just how easy it is to fly; it’s one of the most intuitive kites on the market. IKSURFMAG Editor Rou Chater had this to say after he flew it “The kite is incredible, it’s just so easy to fly and was always where I wanted it to be, fingertip control, incredible speed, I almost forgot I was flying a kite, it was so natural”. It’s the kind of kite that you get dialled into in an instant, meaning you can concentrate on the wave in front of you.
For strapless riding, the BANDIT-S is designed to jump high, which will help you score points with the judges or the crowds on the beach. The loop it delivers has a small radius in the turn and won’t pull you sideways too much, so you can stay in control of your board. The instant depower also allows you to stay connected when throwing front and back rolls too. All this control at your fingertips leaves you to work on your next big trick rather than thinking about the kite.
These qualities make the BANDIT-S a phenomenal kite for foiling, the fast turning nature means you can generate lots of power early on to allow you to ride a smaller kite and allow easy carving. Its lightness and stability are essential features for foiling, and it’s great for gentle breezes, with a big wing and small kite you can have endless hours of fun.
If you want to boost some jumps on a twin tip, the S can do that too; it’s a very easy kite to jump around on and is packed with performance. It’s easy and forgiving when learning strapless airs, and for the freerider on a twin tip, this is true too. Whatever board you are riding you’ll find the Bandit S intuitive to get airborne.

Bandit 2020

Splitting the BANDIT into two distinct lines has allowed us to radically change the way the smaller sizes of the BANDIT 2020 work. The 7, 8, 9 and 10 m are now fully geared to overpowered riding, big air and kite loops. The larger sizes from 11 m and up offer incredible control and freeride abilities with a huge wind range. Key to this new concept is the updated spider 4 or 5 points bridle set up, which is different to the classic 4 point bridles on the BANDIT S. The new bridle helps keep the profile arc of the kite stable even in extreme overpowered conditions.
This adds a massive amount of control and comfort to your riding, making it the perfect tool for events like the Megaloop Challenge and the King Of The Air. The leading edge is slightly larger in diameter too, further enhancing the stability of the kite in the air. New wingtips with a squarer, more drawn out shape allow the kite to rotate fast through the turns due to less drag thanks to the narrower angle on the rake of the tip. This new design generates a wide dynamic turn that delivers lots of pull and power through the turn for huge kite loops.
Comfort on the water is key to everything we do here at F-ONE and the BANDIT 2020 takes that to new levels. Less lateral pull, especially in overpowered conditions, will not fatigue the rider and you won’t feel like you are being beaten up on the water.
The BANDIT 2020 has been designed not to deform when it is depowered; instead, the kite holds its shape and remains in the same spot in the window no matter the wind strength. This means it generates smooth and comfortable forward momentum even in the gustiest of conditions. This leaves you feeling more energised and able to stay on the water for longer with impressive upwind performance. The kite keeps flying and provides a constant power distribution.
The turning speed and reactive steering is another feature of the BANDIT 2020 you will enjoy; the bar pressure is a little more positive than the BANDIT S allowing you to feel where the kite is at all times. This is particularly important when kite looping; however, while there is a little more bar pressure, the steering is incredibly quick to react and very dynamic. The turning arc of the kite is always predictable and under the control of the rider. The speed back to the zenith is fast and clean. This allows you to throw huge mega loops and feel safe and supported for the landing.
The fast nature of the kite allows you to send it back in the window for explosive takeoffs, and we’re expecting this kite to top the WOO leaderboards this year. You can still ride waves with the new BANDIT 2020; it’s geared to be a great all-round kite just like every BANDIT. The emphasis this year was on the kite loops and big air though.
The larger sizes of the BANDIT 2020 feature all the excellent characteristics of the smaller sizes, but the design profiles and arcs have been tweaked to offer even more low-end wind range and lightness. You no longer need different styles of kites to fill your quiver, just choose the BANDIT that best suits your riding style and get on the water in as little as 10 knots while being confident in over 50knots too!

WTF V2
The C-Shape itself has always been the best option for making an easy to control and dynamic kite. To maximise the handling during intense moments such as building up speed to go into popped unhooked tricks and kiteloops. We utilised a five strut design which keeps the profile exceedingly steady and gives our riders great confidence in the kite at all times. We decided to add a 5th line to help with control, optimise the power and enable them to relaunch the kite quickly with minimal effort.
The kite’s pop is huge, and the slack which follows is sudden and gives right enough time for the rider’s multiple passes. The WTF!? pulls you then out of your trick with speed and stability.
The Kite’s profile has been improved to reduce the heavy sensation in your bar while keeping the excellent bar feedback from the previous edition.
The kite moves better in the window and generates more speed in the low end.
Each size of the WTF has been individually designed to match the conditions they are aimed at. The larger sizes have been developed to deliver more power and get you planing early. The smaller sizes are built with a high top-end wind range in mind. This means whichever size you choose; you know everything has been done to get the most out of the given conditions on the day.
We are offering the WTF in every size from 5m to 15m, allowing you to choose the perfect quiver for you without having to compromise. HALO
Intuitive and forgiving, the kite requires less control input as its aspect ratio is adapted to each size which makes up for all wind variations. The kite goes naturally forward in the window with each gust. This allows a comfortable ride with no efforts.
It is very reliable and exceptionally manoeuvrable. The kites are available in 8, 10, 12, 15 and 19 m². All sizes have a huge wind range. You can ride relaxed knowing that you’ll be fine even if the wind picks up or goes down.
The smaller sizes are ideal for carving on a foil. The bigger sizes will satisfy all your light wind sessions, whether you’re on your foil or even on a TT or a surfboard.
It is built from 38g canopy material with insignia half-circle reinforcement on every attachment point to increase the durability.
The HALO will be your best travel companion as it is much lighter and takes less room than an inflatable kite. The compression bag has been thought to fold the kite only once and has backpack straps.
The HALO goes with the new F-ONE foil bar. Available in 50 or 60cm, equipped with stiff lines in 17m or 19m length. The tube is quite thin and the grip extremely comfortable. With its depower, the foil bar gives the Halo a whole new dimension as it is perfectly tuned for this kite.

Trax HRD Carbon Series
The TRAX has a long heritage and is one of the most popular twin tips on the market. It is the ultimate freeride and freestyle board with a unique feeling on the water, offering both speed and comfort with fantastic glide. The HRD Rail plays a significant role in the way the board handles, and it sets it apart from everything else out there.
HRD is a unique feature using a process that allows for the rails of the board to be shaped in 3D. There are three sections to the rail as it runs the length of the board. WTF!?
The WTF?! board features a specific rocker line with a flatter section in the centre of the board to allow for early planing with increased rocker on the tips to keep those landings smooth and easy. The transition between the three stages of the rocker is key to the dynamics of edging and loading for the pop and reaching maximum amplitude.
Every feature of the WTF?! has been built around not only giving the rider the most pop possible but also making it easy to release it and control. The outline of the board is both versatile and comfortable; the board tips provide a huge platform for you to launch your tricks from, while also offering a stable landing area, no matter how hard you are coming in from a move.
Inspired by our HRD rail design, the WTF uses thicker rails under the feet, offering maximum lift and balance while in the middle of the board. At the tips, the profile of the rail gets thinner for improved grip.
The bottom of the board features a lot of shape details including a central V-double concave, step channels in the sides and tip channels. These are featured to improve the grip and the release of water from the board. Helping you with speed and control at all times while you are on the water. These channels also break the surface tension of the water, making the landings smoother and more manageable, even at high speed.
The deck of the board is flat to provide a more consistent connection to the board for your bindings, no matter what brand you choose. This helps with control and also makes it easy to get bindings that fit the board.
The board is built around a wood core with glass reinforcement and carbon tapes for a better load transmission when loading up for the pop. This construction not only makes the WTF?! Incredibly durable, it is also the secret to the smooth and controlled feel underfoot.
Once you are on the water, you will notice the speed at which the board travels and how effortless it is to ride. Pop is gained easily and no matter your speed, or the state of the water, you can be assured of a good take off every time you load up the edge. Comfortable, easy to control and providing easy upwind performances, the ONE is the perfect freeride board. The ONE is long with a straight rocker offering easy planing and performant edging to get going and hold your line upwind.
Its good flex allows the board to remain comfortable and keeps it easy for the legs. The moderate width at the tips offers excellent manoeuvrability. With a versatile outline and rounded tips, this board is truly an all-round performer and is very forgiving.
The bottom receives a single concave making the board very comfortable in the chop and super easy to control. On the two largest sizes, which are specifically tailored for light wind riding, the board features some extra width to offer maximum lift and super early planing. Thanks to its ABS sidewalls and a specific deck reinforcement patch, the ONE is very durable.

BIG ONE
Discover the fantastic world of riding in very light winds with the BIG ONE. You’ll be out on the water before all the other twin-tip riders!
The BIG ONE is the newest addition to the F-ONE twin-tip range and is the perfect light wind board. Its extra length with moderate width provides very easy and very early sustentation and keeps edging control. The parabolic outline makes the board very intuitive and easy to control even in the chop.
With its deep double concave on the bottom, the BIG ONE offers great planing sensations and a smooth ride in all conditions. The moderate flex allows the board to bend slightly under load. This increases comfort and makes the board more manageable and less physical to ride.
The fin positions are offset to get the best grip for easy upwind performances. The board gets on the plane at very low speed and has a very predictable behaviour. The rider can focus on his kite handling; the board will provide the support and edging needed.

Mitu Pro Bamboo
The MITU PRO BAMBOO is available in 5 sizes from 5’2 to 5’10 and takes advantage of our full bamboo construction to offer the fantastic Mitu shape in a simple package using the excellent properties of natural bamboo for a light, responsive and durable board. With the compact outline, the single deep concave remains the DNA of the MITU PRO MODEL; it is this unique shape that helps the board get on the plane early, accelerate in an instant and give directional stability.
Comfort has been improved by a double concave in the front section making your ride smoother than ever. Travelling along the bottom of the board, the concave fades progressively towards the back where an increased kick in the tail rocker helps make the turns tight and effortless. Combined with thin rails towards the rear, the fishtail offers the best combination between planing, stability, turning and pop.
This unique mix of planing, stability and manoeuvrability is what makes the MITU PRO MODELS so unique and versatile. Shadow
The brand-new SHADOW is a surf kiteboard, designed to enjoy all sizes waves with an outstanding fluidity and excellent manoeuvrability.
Stable and easy to handle, the SHADOW is designed for surfing any kinds of waves and conditions. It benefits from a very well balanced and intuitive shape. This board can carve short turns as well as long and fast curves effortlessly.

Slice Bamboo Foil
Equipped with twin US tracks the SLICE BAMBOO FOIL is a fantastic all in 1 board: The compact dimensions, parallel outline and thin rails of the SLICE make its shape a perfect match as a foiling board.
The board has a straighter rocker and a parallel outline, which fades into a dynamic winger tail to increase its manoeuvrability. The squared-off nose keeps the length to a minimum, and there are three sizes for you to choose from. The 5’3” is perfect for larger riders over 75kg who would usually ride a board around 5’8” while the smaller 5’1” is ideal for smaller riders. We have this year added a 5’5’’ for the riders over 85 kgs or those looking for more stability.
Freestyle is a lot about control, pop and landing. The volume and the thickness of the SLICE have been specifically tailored for kiting to ensure the highest possible level of performance. Underneath, you’ll find a single concave with a central channel which has been extended and now runs along the entire length for more directional stability.
We’ve kept the rails of the board thin to allow you to hold a better edge and also to increase the pop, making freestyle tricks easier. The distinct kick in the rocker line around the fins has been emphasised to get more pop out of the board. The nose is pulled up slightly to help to nail the landings while the long channel provides stability required.
The board delivers plenty of speed, both on flat water, for tricks, and in the waves too. The flatter rocker line enables the board to carry itself through weaker sections of the wave. The thin rails and pulled in winger tail make for dynamic turns on the face. The thruster fin set up offers maximum versatility across a wide range of conditions, while also making the board easier to use.
Program
For strapless freestyle riding, the compact dimensions make it very easy to manoeuvre the board in the air and swing weight is reduced. Even performing simple jumps is made easier, with a wide stance pop comes easy and the light nature of the board will help you improve incredibly quickly.
The SLICE is best suited to small and medium-sized waves and excels when the conditions are onshore, and the waves aren’t too powerful. The increased speed offered by the board allows you to negotiate the wave without relying on its power as much. The SLICE will switch your level to “fast forward” mode!
Construction
The SLICE BAMBOO FOIL features twin tracks on the bottom to fit any foil using a 4-bolt plate. The length of the tracks allows adjusting the foil position depending on its design to achieve perfect balance. On deck, the inline strap inserts are complemented by two extra inserts for a front foot V-strap configuration which is much more user-friendly when foiling. Whether you like sending strapless tricks, surfing waves or foiling around the bay, you can do it all with the SLICE BAMBOO FOIL.

Slice Carbon Comp’ Series
The All-out strapless freestyle machine! The Slice Carbon Comp Series has become an all-out strapless freestyle machine. The versatility for small wave riding is still very much there since it’s part of all F-ONE product DNA, but the design parameters of the “carbon comp series” have been pushed significantly towards competition strapless freestyle under the close monitoring of Mitu Monteiro and Camille Delannoy who have tested and proven this shape on the world tour.
This year we have kept the same parallel outline but with a direct transition to the tail to get an easier pop. The straighter rocker line offers a faster straight-line speed to send more energy into the pop. The kick in the tail remains unchanged to keep the same ease when rocking the board with the back foot during the pop. The deeper central channel on the bottom, which also features a central V channel’s the flow much better. This results in better control before sending the jump and smoother, safer landings.
We have reduced the thickness to improve control at all times and benefit from lighter weight.
On The Water
The parallel rails and deep channel provide a smooth ride with a lot of control. The grip when edging upwind or before the pop is first class and creates a lot of possibilities during the session.
The board is fast with sharp acceleration. It’s easy to generate some speed before loading up for a trick and reach higher amplitude. The distinct kick in the tail rocker line makes the pop intuitive as the board rocks easily around this pivot point.
In the air, the board sticks to the feet with a lot of control thanks to the lightweight, compact shape and balanced outline. Landings are ultra-smooth and safe thanks to the deep central channel that features sharp lines and a central V line. The pulled-up nose further helps you to stick sketchy landings.
In small or soft wave riding conditions, the board is lighting fast, keeping the momentum and allowing for some sharp turns and airs despite the poor conditions.
Construction
The SLICE CARBON COMP SERIES uses the HD foam carbon construction with two deck stringers to combine durability and super lightweight that are needed at competition level. The deck stringers strengthen the deck without adding stiffness to the board. The carbon is used with a sandwich construction around a structural foam core to reach the best mechanical properties. Equipped with a large pad to care for a variety of stances, the board comes with a set of F-ONE FLOW fins. It is ready to fulfil the most demanding riders and truly lives to all expectations as the ultimate strapless freestyle board.
