At a Glance
The Mystic Stealth Women’s Harness made a big impression the second I opened the box. It looks sleek, feels incredibly lightweight, and you can tell straight away that Mystic has been refining and improving every detail. At just 1018 g (2.24 lbs), this is the lightest Stealth yet, and the 3D-shaped padding gives it a smooth, minimal grip that feels comfortable right away. What stood out to me is the reduced side height; it’s such a small change, but it makes a big difference in terms of freedom of movement. The slimmer Battlebelt also feels less bulky, which I noticed even before hitting the water.
It comes in three colourways: Sand, Teal, and Black. I went for the Black in size S (I usually wear an XS, but the S also fit perfectly). I paired it with the Stealth Kite Gen 3 spreader bar, Mystic’s thinnest and most advanced bar so far. It locks in easily, feels solid, and the design takes the pressure off in all the right spots.
On the Water
Once I got on the water, the comfort was honestly next level. The harness stayed exactly where it should, thanks to the non-water-absorbing Flexagon Drytech; no riding up and no sore spots even after a long session. I tested it in both light and strong winds, and in both cases, the harness just disappeared. I barely had to think about it, which for me is the sign of a great harness. The Bionic Core Frame is another feature I really noticed. It gives you that solid support when you’re fully powered, but still twists and moves with your body so it never feels restrictive. At one point, I was sitting on the beach waiting for the wind to pick up, and I genuinely forgot I was still wearing a harness; that’s how natural it feels.
The Stealth Kite Gen 3 bar is the cherry on top. It’s slim, strong, and streamlined, and I love the side locks and lever closure; it’s quick and easy to get on and off, even with cold hands after a winter session.
Overall
The Stealth Women’s Harness feels like Mystic has thought of everything: it’s lightweight, sleek, and incredibly comfortable without losing any support. It moves with you, not against you, which is precisely what you want in a harness. Paired with the Gen 3 spreader bar, it’s about as streamlined and refined as it gets. It’s a women-specific design that delivers comfort, support, and performance in a package that feels great session after session. If you want a harness that fits well, looks good, and lets you focus entirely on your riding, the Stealth is a no-brainer. It’s a big yes in my books!
