The 2017 Cabrinha product range features 6 redesigned kites, the new Apollo kite, 7 redesigned twin tips, 3 redesigned surfboards, the redesigned Double Agent wake skate / foil crossover , 4 redesigned control systems and the all new Fireball connection system. We also see updated accessories and apparel for the 2017 season. The new range is insanely stylish, well built and accommodates every style of rider. Connection System: Fireball!
Fireball is the first kite connection system purpose built for kitesurfing from the ground up. Its unique design harnesses the specific forces and movements of kiteboarding, and combines them with ergonomic form factors to create a kite connection which seamlessly translates your body movements into an immediate kite reaction. It instantly upgrades any kite and harness delivering more control, security, and comfort than ever before.
The ball and socket interface is a semi-circular fitting that brings the pivot point of the connection closer to your core. This keeps the spreader bar from rotating into your body when the pull of the kite comes fro m overhead. The socket is much closer than a traditional hook, thus reducing the rotational torque into your body by up to 50%.
The rotational axis also allows freedom for the kite to follow its natural path in the sky independent of your body position. The friction-free connection maintains a fluid and secure mobility, making your harness feel more comfortable. With the Fireball system you can easily connect from any angle and will never be able to foul-hook.
One of the most unique things about Fireball is its locking gate. The locking gate is positioned on the spreader bar so it can be locked and unlocked on the fly. The secure gate design automatically seats itself into position and provides a friction free method to keep Fireball engaged into the socket.

Overdrive 1X w/ Recoil
Our premium adjustable control system can quickly change the length of your bar from 48cm to 56cm. The Overdrive mode increases the turning speed and performance of any kite large or small.
The recoil trim adjusters keep your trim in the same position every time. Even after you’ve depowered your kite, Recoil will return the trim adjusters to the exact same position for easy operation. The spring has been extended and is now closer to the rider on all bars.
The Overdrive 1X control system features our 1x security system and is available with the Fireball or QuickLoop connection methods. Both methods meet our stringent quality standards that you’ve come to expect. Each one is built for specific functions, the utmost being whether you ride hooked in or predominantly unhooked.
Overdrive 1X w/ Trimlite
Our premium adjustable control system can quickly change the length of your bar from 48cm to 56cm. The Overdrive mode increases the turning speed and performance of any kite large or small.
The customized compact stainless steel TrimLite cleat allows precise and positive trim adjustment. The lightweight design has an elasticized trim line, an internalized mainline, and landing lines protected with multicore tubing to give you the bare essentials with perfect balance and trim to match the changing wind conditions.

1X w/ Trimlite
The 1X Control System is our lightweight, fixed length control system. The comfortable mid-size grip paired with a clean and functional design, make it an easy choice for riders that take a minimalist approach to the sport.
The 1X control system features our 1x security system and is available with the Fireball or QuickLoop connection methods and TrimLite cleat trim adjustment system. Both methods meet our stringent quality standards that you’ve come to expect. Each one is built for specific functions, the utmost being whether you ride hooked in or predominantly unhooked.
Chaos 1X Quickloop w/ Trimlite
The Chaos Control bar is a 6 line system designed to work with our Chaos kite only. The lightweight pro model is 44cm and features a jumbo 26cm QuickLoop harness loop. This system utilizes our all new TrimLight cleat for smooth and precise trim, and boasts an aggressive bar grip to keep the bar firm in your hand. Extra length in the pro leash gives you more dimension when doing passes.
