Hendrick Lopez Joins the Ride Engine Squad

A warm welcome to the Ride Engine team of elite athletes, we have Hendrick Lopes adding to the list.

Part of the next generation of Cape Verde kitesurfing dominators, Hendrick not only took notes from legendary mentors like Airton Cozzolino, Mitu Monteiro and Matchu Lopes, but also cut his teeth in the famous Punta Prieta lineup. He’s been known to charge some of the most consequential secret spots the island has to offer. Hendrick has perfected a balance of pure surf power, mixed with technical kitesurf air tricks, that has the likes of Ariton saying he is destined to become a world champion.
