Where are you from?
Varberg, Sweden
Besides kiteboarding, what do you do?
I’m a content creator, model and founder of Franksay Swim.
What are your hobbies?
I’m into golf, sailing, gym training, yoga, hiking, all types of watersports and outdoor activities. Besides sports, I have a big passion for art and design.
Why did you start kitesurfing?
Growing up with sailing, I started kitesurfing because it seemed “easier” and less complicated than rigging the boat, haha. To be honest I didn’t have very high expectations at first but as soon as I tried kitesurfing for the first time I was hooked!
Can you share with us one of your best kitesurfing experiences?
One of my most insane experiences was my first time in Cape Town at my very first session when a huge whale showed up right next to me during a downwinder and “followed along” the whole session. It’s one of my favourite memories.
Any advice for beginners?
Stay patient, in the beginning, there seems to be so much to think about but it will get easier, I promise.
What makes you happy?
A good weather forecast, and really big waves!
Your motto in life?
Keep your magic!
Is there anything you’re afraid of?
Serious injuries and if something would happen to my family or close friends.
