When the wind and waves line up at Cape Town’s Kite Beach, every kiteboarder in town piles into their cars in pursuit of the perfect downwinder. In this episode, the entire Liquid Force South Africa squad get together for a downwind supersession.
The classic Cape Town downwinder starts at Dolphin Beach and ends at Doodles Beachfront. When that cloud starts dripping down Table Mountain, you know you’ve got the recipe for a wild ride. Mix 30+ knots with 3-4 foot waves, bake for an hour, and serve with an ice-cold beer!
As they take you downwind along the beachfront, they’re also taking you on a look back at the funniest and most epic moments of the season. The end of a kite season is a bit like the end of the perfect session… it’s bittersweet! But the next South Africa season is almost underway, and they can’t wait!
