We’re just under a month away from the penultimate event of the 2018 KSWT World Championship (Round six: Prea, Brazil 20 – 24th November) at the Ceara Kite Pro at Prea in Brazil.  Not only a new and exciting venue for the tour, but the whole event will be streamed live for the first time.

Rankings for the Final Showdown

Although Airton Cozzolino has won all but one event this season, with a packed 7-event scheduled for 2018, the men will have two discards to apply by the end of the season – so 2016 Champion Matchu Lopes’ continual improving form means that he can still keep the pressure on.

The women have a schedule of six events this season, so there will be one event to discard at the end of the season. Early leaders and wave specialists, Moona Whyte and Jalou Langeree missed the last pure freestyle round in Tarifa. They have some ground to make up on Carla Herrera and Charlotte Carpentier, but it’s likely to be a close call come the final in Australia.
