Living in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina, comes at a cost. With only one road in & one road out that road lies just feet away from the powerful Atlantic ocean. All it takes is one big swell and the tiny 10ft dunes north of Rodanthe, NC are no match mother natures might. This week was no exception. 20ft of swell and 40mph NE Wind battered the tiny strip of land that sits 30 miles out into the ocean, causing lots of flooding and covering the highway in feet of sand
