From 19 till 22nd of June 2013 a group of worldclass wakestyle kiteboard athletes gathered at blue water paradise Bonaire to host the Heineken Kite Ride event. The Kite Ride Foundation and the local youngsters had been working on building obstacles for 5 months to create a perfect playground for the invited riders. Amongst them were Aaron Hadlow, Sam Light, Billy Parker, Lewis Crathern, Jake Kelsick, Rick Jensen and event host Ruben Lenten. The chemistry between the local riders, the wildcards and the all time pro’s proved to be the perfect mix for an amazing action packed week full of top level kiteboarding in the trade winds and endless evenings with great festivities.. join us for the 2014 event stay tuned!
