The Ballito Pro presented by O'Neill Day 4 LIVE!

It's always summer on the inside.
Since 1952 | It's always summer on the inside.

Jack O'Neill opened the first Surf Shop in a garage across the Great Highway in Calfornia, USA. What started out as shaping surfboards and selling wax quickly evolved into the business of the world's first wetsuit.

Soon surfers were riding more waves, and riding them better, in large measure because they could now enjoy longer sessions in cold water, thanks to Jack's neoprene suits.

By 1980, Jack O'Neill's surf shop had morphed into a thriving international company, dominating the world's wetsuit market and one of the leaders in beach lifestyle sportswear in the U.S., Japan, and Europe. Over 65 years of innovation is behind the new milestones reached as the brand continues to grow and diversify across the globe.
Company overview
They said it couldn't be done. We did it. They said it wouldn't continue. It does. For over 60 years, our athletes and products have outperformed, outworked and outlasted the competition. Which is why we believe that not doing what's expected starts by having the most unreasonable expectations of yourself.
Born out of our Nor-Cal roots and enduring love of water and snow, we fundamentally believe in the power of nature to feed our soul.

Everything we do, make, or say allows us to connect with it longer and deeper.

Through our creative ingenuity, we inspire people to call nature to play.

We use imagination to conquer barriers that restrict and confine us.

We create to liberate.
