The Soleil Concept Blue is Duotone's freeride twin tip for female riders who want the Soleil's narrower outline and comfort-led handling with a lower-impact material package. It uses Flax and Basalt fibres instead of the SLS model's Innegra and carbon emphasis, while retaining soft flex, early planing, detailed edge shaping and a responsive bottom. Concept Blue Materials
Flax fibre supplies dampening and replaces conventional glass in parts of the laminate. Basalt fibre adds torsional and longitudinal stiffness, helping the board respond promptly while the Flax moderates vibration and impact. Duotone says this combination reduces the construction's carbon footprint and produces Concept Blue boards using solar energy. The material pairing aims to provide a lively but controlled response rather than the sharper feel associated with a full performance-carbon structure.
Outline and Flex
A narrower outline is tailored around smaller riders, reducing the leverage needed to engage the edge and making the board easier to manoeuvre. Absorption Flex Tips remain relatively flat to support early planing in lighter wind, then flex with increasing speed to add scoop, stability and softer landings. Carving, Grip and Bottom Shape
Space Flex technology combines a stiffer outer frame with flexible tip zones, producing clean water release, smooth carving and lower swing weight. Torsion Flex allows controlled longitudinal twist so the heel-side edge can stay engaged without making the board excessively rigid. Angled rails reinforce grip, upwind drive and pop. A Double Concave Bottom guides water through two channels, helping the board plane cleanly and remain stable through turns, rough water and landings.
Sizes and Specifications
The Soleil Concept Blue is offered in 128 x 37 cm, 132 x 38 cm and 136 x 39 cm. Duotone lists 55–70 kg for the 132 and 65–85 kg for the 136; the official table does not publish a rider-weight recommendation for the 128. All three sizes use S-Bend FS 4.5 Glass 15 fins. Published board weights are approximately 2.205 kg, 2.290 kg and 2.490 kg, with a stated tolerance of plus or minus five per cent.

The board is designed for early planing, comfortable upwind progress and fluid carving.
