The DUOTONE Evo SLS Porsche Edition 2027 is a limited-production version of the forthcoming Evo SLS platform, combining an all-round performance brief with a colour and graphic treatment influenced by the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric. DUOTONE positions it for progressive riders spanning freeride, Big Air, hooked and unhooked freestyle, looping and occasional wave use. Production is limited to 300 kites, and the range consists of 7m, 9m and 12m sizes. Flight character and intended use
The kite is designed to balance accessible control with a distinctly sporty response. DUOTONE says the refined canopy profile and stiffer frame transfer power efficiently as the kite accelerates overhead, producing a strong vertical take-off without demanding unusually complicated timing. Once airborne, stable flight and controlled steering are intended to support hangtime, rotations and more technical manoeuvres. Progressive bar pressure keeps feedback clear, while the balanced canopy is designed to remain manageable when the kite is fully powered or the wind becomes gusty.
Versatility is central to the Evo concept. Its freeride bias is supplemented by fast turning and cleaner loops for Big Air, sufficient responsiveness for freestyle, and predictable positioning for wave sessions. The six-point bridle supports the leading edge, broadens the usable wind range and is intended to keep power transmission smooth through gusts. Anti-snag webbing helps keep flying lines clear of the wingtip, and colour-coded kook-proof connectors reduce the chance of attaching the lines incorrectly.
Sizes and specifications
The 7m has an official wind range of 18-38 knots, uses 22m lines and an S-width bar, and weighs 2.27kg without its bag. The 9m is rated for 14-34 knots with the same 22m line and S-bar recommendation, at 2.63kg. The 12m covers 10-27 knots, uses 24m lines and an M-width bar, and weighs 3.15kg. DUOTONE specifies inflation pressures in the 8-9 PSI range for the stiff frame concept. These wind ranges are manufacturer guidance and will vary with rider weight, board, ability and conditions.
The exclusive C98:E4 colourway uses muted teal, charcoal and orange detailing derived from the Cayenne Turbo Electric design language.
