The Jaime Concept Blue brings Duotone's established freestyle and big-air Jaime shape into the brand's lower-impact Concept Blue construction. It is aimed at ambitious riders who want strong edge grip, a direct take-off and a sporty response while placing greater emphasis on alternative fibres and reduced production impact. The board retains a hard flex and performance-oriented bottom shape, so its sustainability focus does not turn it into a soft or entry-level freeride model.
Concept Blue Materials
Flax and Basalt fibres replace parts of a conventional glass or carbon laminate. Flax is used for dampening and a smoother ride, while Basalt, derived from volcanic rock, increases torsional and longitudinal stiffness. Duotone says this combination reduces the board's carbon footprint while preserving a lively, responsive feel. Concept Blue boards are also described as being produced with solar energy. The Basalt reinforcement is particularly important to the Jaime's character because it supports the stiff, fast response expected from a freestyle platform.
Grip and Take-Off
The Double Rocker Line Concept channels water along two distinct rocker paths to build grip through the edge.
