The pressure and excitement are high in Gran Canaria, where Day 1 of the 2020 KiteFoil European Championships has kicked off! With 56 kite racers from 15 countries in the event, they have put it all on the line to be the first to round the buoys and cross the finish line. The racecourse was flush with eager riders looking to show their skills and speed, and there were a few crashes that left us gasping. It is clear to see the level of risk and intensity in this category of the sport.
