The UK has produced a plethora of top professional kitesurfers, riders like Sam Light, Aaron Hadlow, Mark Shinn and many others have been dominating the competition scene over the years. A lot of their success is attributed to the competition scene in the UK. Recently rejuvenated by Rou Chater and Jim Gaunt and their respective teams at IKSURFMAG and Kiteworld the British Kitesurfing Championships has seen a resurgence in popularity.

This weekend sees the final showdown at Hunstanton Kitesurfing Club in Norfolk, it’s a winner takes all scenario with the overall title up for grabs and the forecast looks off the charts, loads of wind and even some sunshine to boot! If you want to get involved you can find out more details here.
