NEW for 2020, we updated the rails for a slightly more parallel outline, which translates to a bit more upwind drive and pop for aerials. We also changed to a squash tail, giving the Celero FR more lift and low-end drive and a looser feel. This is the all-around, one board quiver our lineup.  For 2020, all Slingshot surfboards feature new construction that makes them significantly lighter and gives a more connected surfboard feel while maintaining the durability needed to stand up to the sport of kitesurfing.

2020 Sci-Fly

New for 2020, the Sci-Fly is a modern shortboard designed for aerials and powered-up, progressive freeriding. A parallel rail outline helps with edging and load/pop off the water, while relative high rocker helps soften landings, helps prevent nose-diving and gives the board a looser, skate-like feel. To aid in mid-air manoeuvres, the Sci-Fly has top and bottom grab rails for easy grip and a chopped nose that reduces swing weight. A winged diamond tail gives the board plenty of back-end grip and a clean exit when releasing from the water.

2020 Mixer

NEW for 2020, The Mixer features new construction that makes it significantly lighter and gives a more connected surfboard feel while maintaining bomber durability needed to stand up to the sport of kitesurfing. Upgraded to a five-fin configuration, riders can now swap between the faster, more responsive and looser feel of a quad-fin setup or the traditional, locked-in feel of a three-fin thruster.

Now with a NEW winged rounded pintail, the Mixer is going to provide a looser feel and enable smooth turns while keeping speed for bigger waves. This shape tail also makes the board quite stable in smaller, less powerful surf and lighter winds. A slight rounder outline and more robust belly on the board excel it in smaller wave conditions enabling it to float through lulls and weaker sections.

The impressive top-end speed allows the Mixer to keep up if the swells pick up or a decent sized set comes through.

Why You’ll Love The 2020 Mixer

  • NEW Construction- lighter weight, more control, more connected feel
  • NEW Versa-fin configuration lets you choose between five fins, quad or thruster

The SlingWing Classic V1

The SlingWing Classic V1 is part windsurfing, part kiteboarding and part flying, each broken down to their most basic form. When you combine it with a foil, you get an entirely new sport that simplifies the experience and gear you need to fly across the water powered by the wind. If you’re new to wind sports, the SlingWing is easier, safer and more user-friendly than any of its predecessors, and if you’re an experienced wind junkie, it’s a fun and simplistic style of riding you’ll enjoy instantly.

The SlingWing is a lightweight inflatable wing that has a rigid frame when pumped up and can be packed in a small bag when deflated. No harness, control bar, lines, mast, boom or battens needed. It’s designed to be used with a foil or paddleboard with enough volume for the rider to stand on and can also be used with snow sports or skating.

Why You’ll Love The SlingWing

Using the wind to propel you across the water (or land) is an addicting sensation, and the SlingWing is yet another form to get your fix. You need decent board skills, but little to no sailing or kiting experience to get the hang of it right out of the gate. Its unique appeal comes from how simple it is and the freedom you feel using it. Just stand on your board, hold the wing at the proper angle and off you go. To ease power, sheet out or let go with your backhand and the wing drifts with you like a paper aeroplane.

One of the greatest things about the SlingWing is how simple and safe it is to use. All you need are moderate board/foil skills and a basic awareness of the wind. It was designed to be combined with foiling, and since the friction is so low, it takes very little arm strength to use once you’re cruising. It works the same without a foil- on a paddleboard, skis, snowboard or skateboard- but may require more strength to use for extended periods.
