Flysurfer Era

This year we have fine-tuned the tension in the whole canopy by adding a seam that spreads the backline tension further towards the centre of the kite for an even more powerful and balanced kite as well as the new OnePoint and SureLock Inflation System.

2x winner of Red Bull King of the Air, the Pivot is direct, versatile and efficient, maintaining its stand out performer status in the Naish kite line. Perfect for both novice and professional kiters alike, the Pivot provides plenty of sheet-in-and-go, predictable power, direct bar pressure, easy jumping and control in the air. The superior choice for versatile performance, the Pivot maintains a large wind range, proving dynamic and responsive in everything from waves to flat water.

It has earned an impressive reputation for its intuitive steering and tight, quick axis of rotation, and this new generation continues to push its capabilities even further. With the Quad-Tex material, we have managed to remove heavy dacron panels along the struts—reducing weight while retaining canopy rigidity. The leading edge seam is made with our exclusive thread that has tested off the charts in overall strength. The Pivot also comes with our exclusive Bladder Lock, which eliminates the risk of bladder movement in the leading edge and struts to ensure they stay in place when inflating, deflating, crashing or packing.

While the Pivot has received various tweaks and improvements that enhance the performance characteristics, it continues to stay true to its loyal following and remains as one of the most sought after kites worldwide.

Flysurfer Era

This year we have fine-tuned the tension in the whole canopy by adding a seam that spreads the backline tension further towards the centre of the kite for an even more powerful and balanced kite as well as the new OnePoint and SureLock Inflation System.

The ideal choice to stoke out dedicated wave kiters, the 2020 Slash delivers unmatched drift, a wide wind range and quicker reaction time.

The leading edge bladder is tapered through the wingtip, creating a small diameter for fast turning speed and response. Providing incredible low-end power and the best down-the-line drift in the Naish line, the bar pressure is light to help fight fatigue and keep kiters on the water even longer. Made to take a beating in heavy surf, the Quad-Tex canopy remains the strongest material in the industry, while the leading edge seam features our exclusive HT+ thread that tested off the charts in strength. Thanks to the strength that Quad-Tex provides, Dacron strut panels can be removed without a loss of canopy rigidity, allowing for further weight reduction. Our unique Bladder Lock ensures there is no movement in the leading edge bladder or struts when inflating, deflating, crashing or packing.

The Slash has established itself as Naish’s premier wave kite, providing incredible down-the-line drift and stable flight, perfect for park-and-ride style kitesurfing.

Triad

All-around Freeride

Flysurfer Era

This 3-strut platform makes it the easiest, most versatile kite around.

The new Triad is much more than an evolution of the Ride; it’s been redesigned and re-engineered. We’ve taken the original iconic user-friendly design and developed it further to be even more versatile and provide a whole new riding experience. This new, three-strut frame offers greater stability. The centre luff strut creates excellent low-end power, allowing the kite to drift and providing great sheet-in-and-go. The stiffer centre also increases the Triad’s wind range, providing improved handling in stronger winds and gusty conditions. It also allows us to move the two outer struts lower for a more direct bar feel and improved turning ability. Its low aspect ratio and gradual curve in the wingtip produce smooth turns and very predictable flying. This is perfect for anyone who prefers steady movements over a more punchy kite.

Mistakes are minimal with the Triad, so no need to worry if you oversheet it, dive it too hard, or overfly your kite. It also has excellent wing stability when resting on the water—so you have plenty of time to make adjustments before relaunching. Smooth-flying, stable and forgiving, the Triad gives riders plenty of time to react and plenty of room to grow, so you’re in complete control at all times.

From complete beginners to kiters looking to improve, to those seeking an easy-riding experience, anyone looking for an easy to control a kite will enjoy the Triad.

Dash

Freestyle/Freeride

Flysurfer Era

Flysurfer Era

Compared to the Pivot, the Dash is more engaging, more “punchy” and turns faster. It also creates more drive when unhooked. Its power and forward flying ability deliver similar performance to the Torch—creating good pop and slack for kiters that like to ride unhooked.

Advanced kiters looking for a fast and powerful kite will be stoked on the Dash. This kite flies fast, turns fast and has a powerful and “punchy” feel. The C-shape, small leading edge and relatively flat profile create strong pull immediately, which is a huge benefit for riders looking to jump high. The Dash not only turns fast, but it also completes them nicely too.

Anyone looking to pull off a killer kite loop will benefit from its superior turning performance. This newest model features a new bridle geometry creating a much better low end for more consistent power in gusty conditions. Those looking to ride unhooked will find its forward flying ability and power to perform similar to a Torch, as it offers excellent pop and slack.

Boxer

Freeride/Foiling

Flysurfer Era

The lightest kite on the market, and therefore exceptionally efficient in marginal conditions Amazing water relaunch in marginal conditions.

With its light pull, lightweight and light input, the Boxer is the ultimate kite for underpowered riding and foiling. The single luff strut and Quad-Tex construction create a lightweight framework that stays in the air easily—even in super light wind. This eliminates any struggle to keep the kite up, so you can keep your focus on foiling. When sheeting out, it quickly offers a lot of depower in a shorter throw. This prevents the kite from pulling too much and feels as if it almost disappears. Its lightweight load pulls more through the bar than through the harness, for more direct steering. And because it’s so responsive to lighter inputs, lighter riders and foilers can easily make micro-adjustments without being thrown off-balance. This year we worked on making the kite even lighter.

Each size has saved up to 280 g, making the boxer the lightest kite on the market. All these precious grams saved translate to weight the wind does not need to carry anymore and creates a more efficient kite for your session. Available in sizes as small as 2.8 meters, the Boxer is built for foiling. It’s such a great all-around performer that larger sizes do well during light wind twin tip riding too! If you’re foiling, riding underpowered, or have lighter input, the Boxer will let you push the boundaries of light wind.

Torch with ESP

Pro Performance Freestyle

This year we have fine-tuned the tension in the whole canopy by adding a seam that spreads the backline tension further towards the centre of the kite for an even more powerful and balanced kite as well as the new OnePoint and SureLock Inflation System.

The longest-running kite in the Naish line, the Torch with ESP has kept freestyle, and big-air specialists stoked for over a decade.

With input from Red Bull King of the Air Champions and top freestyle kiters, the Torch continues to be refined and tuned to deliver smoother power and precise handling for predictable flying. Adjustments to the leading edge and 5th line deliver marked improvements in low-end power, ensuring maximum power delivery in marginal conditions.

The strength and rigidity of Quad-Tex contribute to overall weight reduction, enabling our designers to remove components that are no longer necessary. HT Plus—the leading edge thread reinforcement—continues to support the strength of our kites, ensuring the leading edge holds strong, beating after beating. Last, but not least, the ESP setting allows kiters to tune the flying angle for better control and easier depower.

It’s a unique cross between kitesurfing, windsurfing and foil surfing with the added element to be used on any stand-up paddleboard as well.

The Wing-Surfer is the ultimate handheld inflatable surfing wing. It’s a cross between a windsurfing sail and kiteboarding kite but with no rigging, no hardware and no strings attached! It is made with the same industry-leading and high-quality materials and construction as Naish kiteboarding kites, utilizing Quad-Tex canopy material and top-of-the-line Teijin dacron leading edge and strut for lightweight, yet long-lasting performance.

Our goal with the Wing-Surfer was to pinpoint where performance meets simplicity. The Naish One Point Inflation System allows for quick inflation while integrated ergonomic handles along the centre strut provide comfortable and easy handling. At 4 m2 the Wing-Surfer is just the right size to do it all – providing enough power and speed for light wind cruising on a stand-up paddleboard or enough power and lift for a foil board to get up and glide in as little as 12 knots of wind. The dihedral swept wing design is perfectly balanced, lightweight, extremely stable and easy to handle. Integrated velcro straps on the handles allow for quick attachment of your SUP paddle for added mobility in case the wind dies. The Wing-Surfer deflates in seconds and packs up into the provided backpack for incredibly easy transport and travel. Check out the Q & A with Robby Naish, right here!

Flysurfer Era

It’s an entirely new board for 2020! Conditions vary, people are asymmetrical, and now there is a board that you can dial into your preferences.

The Switch is a new design which gives a great all-around board even more versatility. The inserts on the board are centred so that both its rails can be ridden, which dramatically extends its lifespan. Since both rails are different lengths, you can choose which side you want to ride depending on conditions and riding preference. If the wind is light and you are riding a big kite, the longer side can give you more rail in the water—keeping you planing, so you can get upwind.

If the wind is cranking and the water is rough, you can switch to the shorter side for quicker turning so that you can load fast between the chop. It is also an excellent option for different size people that want to share a board.
