The ION 2022 new range 2022 is OUT! ION have once again hit the nail on the head and announced yet another innovation introducing the Ergo Concept. The 3D Fit Technology is the first of many developments within the concept.
The 3D Fit Technology allows every kiter and windsurfer to find their individualised fitted hardshell harness. Pushing product development in all categories, the already warmest wetsuits are now upgraded with unmatched flexibility. These come along with design highlights across many categories, an extension of the wingfoiling range and the integration of sustainable Waste2Wear fabrics in even more parts of the range.

Wetsuits
The 2022 ION wetsuit range is characterised by the combination of high-tech materials for ultimate warmth and never experienced stretch. The new Max_Flex outer lining now complements the Select premium line’s Graphene_Plush on the inside. This material is featured across all arm and shoulder areas of the Seek Select and the Amaze Select, and the Seek Amp. Again, freedom of movement is key.

Seek Select, Amaze Select & Seek Amp
Seek Select
The Seek Select combines high-tech materials for ultimate warmth and stretch. These premium wetsuits feature the new Graphene Lining, an incredible heat conductor and make sure you stay warm on the water. In addition, this wetsuit allows you to Select a thinner wetsuit but experience the same warmth as an average suit.
On the outside, ION introduces Max_Flex to this high-end wetsuit. The new Max_Flex material is featured across all arm and shoulder areas of the Seek Select. Freedom of movement is key, whether you paddle or hold on to your rail. It improves flexibility in crucial areas.

Seek Amp
The Seek Amp stands for an epic stretch without compromising warmth, making it the perfect wetsuit all year round.
Flexibility is key in the 2022 wetsuit range. Featured across all arm and shoulder areas of the Seek AMP, Max_Flex offers superior stretch in the body part you need it most. The Rhombus structure allows the material to stretch with almost 30% less power required. Without compromising warmth, flexibility equals less pressure on the forearms hence longer lasting grip power. The front zip version is available in three colourways. The back zip version is available in two colourways.

Harnesses
For 2022, the concept’s key pillar is the 3D Fit Technology. Its application to ION’s harness range marks the Ergo_Concept’s kick-off. We strive to extend it to further products continuously. The 3D Fit Technology is featured in the entire hardshell harness range.
Developed in cooperation with leading health professionals, harness fit now considers one’s waist circumference and the rider’s back length. Besides standard sizes, all CURV harnesses are now available in Tall-sizes, i.e. Medium-Tall.
In a third dimension, two exchangeable Ergo_Pads ensure an adaption to the individual curvature of one’s spine. The 3D Fit Technology allows every kiter and windsurfer to find their fitted harness. A perfect fit is mandatory and will reduce injury potential and pain and increase time on the water whilst enhancing your performance.

Riot Curv Kite Harness Men
ION’s harness ergonomics provide the perfect fit for each individual’s body size and shape. The harness outline derives from body height and girth, ranging from high to low with intermediate sizes. In addition, the exchangeable Ergo_Pad on the inside offers optimal lumbar support in two profiles (each harness comes with two options – medium and high support – choose what suits you best).
The Riot Curv is medium rigid (flex index 14) and offers a good balance between direct feeling, flexibility, and support. An ultra-lightweight Curv construction distributes forces evenly throughout the harness. At the same time, it’s flexible enough to allow for optimum freedom of movement. Non-water-absorbent Hyper_Foam contributes to the overall ergonomic fit and lightweight, while the Neoprene_Belt provides flexibility in the front. ION’s sleek Spectre Bar (including kite hook) completes the Riot Curv. Its Curv_Flaps create a seamless and optimal force distribution throughout the harness. Comes with integrated Knite_Knife Multitool 2.0 and HPL_Slider.
