Tasmania is an isolated island that sits off the south coast of Australia. Early Dutch explorers called it Van Diemen’s Land until 1856 when the name Tasmania took over.
Famous for its vast, rugged terrain and furry, little marsupials, Naish’s Ewan Jaspan had always wanted to go on a trip a seek out new places to kite. With a promising forecast, Ewan was joined by Katie Potter, Antoine Mermet and Leo Verrecchia to make the jump across the Bass Strait for the 2020 Torch photoshoot.
