KTA Indonesia – Bintan Day 4
Seems like wind gods are with us this year, as it was again a steady 20 kts and sunny day for our first event of the 2013 season.
Freestyle doubles started early morning, with Kristin Oja and Long Nguyen Duc having to defend their 1st place. For the ladies, Victoria Soloveykina who lost the single finals in an unlucky heat, came back strong and finally stole the crown to Kristin with Slims and 313s, but for the mens, 20 years old Vietnamese Long stood strong in his finals against turkish rider Taner Aykurt , who previously managed to beat Thai champ Yo in semi finals to climb to the second spot on the podium.
