A new PR for Alex Middeler, followed by some insane swell
The new Year starts with a new PR as I was jumping 16.4m measured by the Surfr. App. After a long period of strong winds and no waves, the swell finally came back and we absolutely scored. The combination of strapless freestyle, strapless bigair and wavekiting makes this sport super versatile and special. There’s always a good option, no matter the conditions. We still have one more month in Cape Town until the GKA Kite Surf Worldtour starts again so fingers crossed for some more sessions like these!
