He’s done it again! On the 11th May 2021, Guy Bridge set a new record of 2 hr 24 min, covering a distance of 100.4km (avg speed 42hm/hr | max speed 60.6 km/hr) around the Isle of Wight.
“It was super tough! The weather was hard to read and I lost 15 min in a big hole, but I was able to beat my old record!” says Guy Bridge.
Relying on your equipment is a key success factor. The R5-S was Guy’s weapon of choice for this tough task. The reduced AR and less wingspan for more control in tough conditions proofed to be the record-breaking game-changers.
