Gusty fest of stacks
If you want to make an omelette, you’ve got to crack a few eggs. Mike the Kite took a bit of a beating during this gusty session in the UK, but he stuck with it and made the most of his time on (and under) the water!
“Some days it just doesn’t go your way.
Things go wrong and sometimes the wind just doesn’t want to play fairly. Through these times it’s great to see the positive side of the situation and keep your head up.
This was one of those days for me. The wind was strong, gusty and unpredictable and my head wasn’t in the moment. Although things weren’t working out, I still continued on through the wipeouts and had a fun session. My aim for this session was to progress with more kite loops in stronger winds but because of the conditions this didn’t happen. Most of the time with kiteboarding your have to adapt to the conditions you have to make the most of it.”
