Do you remember your first kite lesson? Blake Olsen headed down to the Bahamas and linked up with Domino for her first kite lesson. She rocked it! Naturally, he snuck in a session of his own at the end of this video.

“Third times the charm! Made it back to Harbour Island for the third time this month and finally scored some wind. This trip has been mainly focused around e-foiling but I can never leave home without kite gear. Wrapping up this trip to the Bahamas and feels good to be on the water again.
I was bit by a morray eel right after New Years and after a few weeks it got infected. Had to have a minor surgery to cut out the infection and blood, so it put me out of the water for a week.

This was my first session back on the water and it was amazing. I had a star student, Domino Flintwood who was jumping in the first ten minutes of flying the kite. It took almost an hour for her to crash it and that was after we got out in the water. We hadn’t planned on even getting wet, mainly just wanted to fly the kite on the beach. I decided she was too good not to get out there and so we changed into our wetsuits and hit the water. Out of the hundreds if not thousands of students I’ve taught, she was one of the quickest studies. Such a pleasure getting to share the experience of your first experience on a kite. I don’t teach lessons to often anymore so it was a real treat to have such a fun one.”

Cheers!
