The UK crew are going hard in the wintery weather! Even the coldest conditions won’t keep Mike the Kite off the water.
“The beast from the east makes a solid return this year with temperatures dropping to around -4C with heavy snow throughout the UK. The wind was coming from the North East with gusts of up to 40 knots at Ramsgate so naturally we went out for a session!
It was fun being out in such crazy conditions but with the snow stinging your eyes it was hard to stay out for too long.I was using a 9m Core XR6 for this session and was filming with a GoPro 9 black with the max lens mod. I also tried out Rain X for keeping water droplets off the lens. I’m not sure it works for snow but I’m sure it helped to clear the lens from water at times. Looking forward to further testing of that.”
