There’s boardshorts sessions in Brazil, and then there’s this. Mikkel Hansen piles on every piece of cold water kit that he can find for this unhooked session in Denmark in his latest video, Shredable. We have a few questions. Do the extra layers cushion the blow on the crashes? What sort of socks is he wearing under those boots? How long does it take post-session before he can feel his fingers and toes again?!
Still progression every time I’m on the water. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like if it’s cold or warm. Of course it is a more comfortable ride when its warmer and the slams don’t hurt that much. But its also super good motivation to go hard on it every time I hit the water during this time of season. Sessions are super intense cause they are so short. But the wind is a lot more stable and strong and the beaches aren’t crowded at all which is super ideal for going absolute bonkers on the water trying new stuff! 🙂
