Kite Foil Academy is a comprehensive online instructional course designed for user-friendly foiling progression. The course utilises Slingshot’s multi-mast Foiling Flight School system and Hover Glide foil. They break the learning process down to the basics, and in nearly a dozen different chapters, we cover the skills you will need to become a proficient foiler.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to foil in a safe and structured manner. They highly recommend learning with the Foiling Flight School mast system, which allows you to start with a short mast and increase in size as your skills progress. If you choose not to use this system, there’s still a wealth of valuable information, tips and tricks to take away from each lesson.
Slingshot’s industry-leading riders and designers cover everything from basic foil behaviour, design and hydrodynamics to advanced transitions and big-air manoeuvres. As you follow along with the course, you’ll learn valuable skills, tips and tricks that you can apply directly to your in-water progression.
Foil Academy is organised into sequential lessons that allow you to progress at your own pace. As you advance through the course, keep in mind that it’s a work in progress.
