Recap from this year’s battle! From Sept 28th-30th 2018, the lake was once again on fire! Every year, all the watersport fanatics from Ireland and abroad (including Kevin Langaree, Steven Akkersdijk and more) come together for the big Finale of the Irish Kitesurfing Tour. Achill Island is one of the best places (and possibly coldest) kitesurfing spots, and year though, these water fanatics have been followed by other visitors: beach lovers, paddle boarders, windsurfers, surfers, music lovers, fire lovers, nature lovers and all sort of lovers; the ‘Battle For The Lake’ has now become an epic festival, check it out!
