National Watersports Festival Kitesurfing Demo! Hayling Island 8/9/12 – 9/9/12
The NWF Kitesurfing demo will take on place 8-9 Sept 2012 on Hayling Island Kite Beach. This is an introduction of kitesurfing into what will become the National WaterSports Festival (NWF) as of 2013. Developed from what is currently The National Windsurfing Festival which is the largest windsurfing event in the country which regular attracts over 450 sailors to its unique friendly format designed purely for the free-ride sailors.
This format will make the foundations of a bigger event in 2013, consisting of Windsurfing,Stand Up Paddle Boarding Kitesurfing and Kayaking under the single banner of National Watersports Festival (NWF)
This united Hayling Kite community event, consisting of Hayling Kite Association (HKA) Chris Bull Kiting (CBK) Andy Biggs Watersports (ABW) Brackelsham Boardriders (BBR) and Havant Borough Council (HBC) in support of The National Watersports Festival (NWF) to deliver the demo to the kite community. Â The demo will be supported by the majority of the UK kite industry presenting their latest kit and supported by their pro riders for advice and coaching.
The NWF Kite demo is free. However, for those who wish to utilise the camping facility and attend the 1980s’ themed NWF VIP party and will be charged Â£30. For those who wish to purchase additional party tickets can do so online at Â£20. Live entertainment for the evening will be supplied by The Heathrow Jets and DJ Parrfitt.
All participants are to register/book in on the day at the main NWF marquee Â and show proof of relevant insurance. Venue is located at Inn on the Beach (IOTB) Beachlands Â PO11 0AS. For those attending the party and utilising camping facilities will collect their event wrist bands and then directed to the Kite beach which is located a mile away.
