»Maybe people don’t understand these things super well.. They see more like a hobby, that you’re living the best life in the world – but it’s not always like it looks.. It’s a common misconception that everyone is like “oh, you’re living the dream”. Of course it’s super sick, but when you do it consistently for so many years, you get a bit lost. You don’t really feel like you have a place to go – living out of a suitcase sucks. I think trying to balance the kite life with trying to figure out the next step outside of kiting, to have stability for the future, while still being cntinuing to compete, because kiting is what we love to do! «
