19-year-old Lorenzo Casati has made a name for himself as one of the most fearless young riders in big air and now he has the Red Bull Megaloop title to prove it! Competing in his very first Megaloop in the Netherlands, Lorenzo faced some of the gnarliest conditions the event has seen in years: howling winds, heavy North Sea swell, and a lineup of the sport’s biggest names. Riding the Harlem Peak on 18m lines paired with the Harlem Ascent board, he kept his kite super low, throwing huge, controlled loops that wowed the judges. His focus and consistency stood out from the first heat, landing 17 out of 19 tricks and topping the scores in every round.

Standing on top of the podium alongside two Red Bull riders marked more than just a personal milestone. It was a breakthrough moment for the next generation of big air and proof that Casati has the skill and mindset to take on the world’s best.

Here’s how Lorenzo remembers the day:

“That was an absolutely epic, insane, gnarly competition, some of the most extreme conditions I’ve ever ridden. It was my first Red Bull Megaloop, and I was just so stoked to be there and win. With the Harlem Peak on 18m lines, I could send the kite super low. The power was insane, but still really controlled. The feeling was magical and unreal. I felt extremely confident from the start and landed 17 out of 19 tricks, consistently earning the highest scores in each round. Winning this event on my first attempt is something I’ll never forget; pure adrenaline and deep emotions.

Standing on the podium next to two Red Bull riders was a crazy, unforgettable moment for me. It just makes me want to push even harder for the upcoming Red Bull King of the Air in South Africa. Thanks so much to my super dad, we worked really hard over the last few months with some new, innovative exercises, and it’s paying off. And of course, thanks to the Harlem family, the Peak 8m, the Harlem Ascent board, and all the innovations coming from the Brainchild factory.

Now it’s back to training harder than ever. Some competitions are coming, and I’m ready to send it again. Let’s go!”
