MANERA is pleased to announce that Eudazio da Silva is the newest MANERA team ambassador. Eudazio is a powerful and experienced, competitive freestyle rider from Cumbuco, Brazil. Learn impressive details about Eudazio’s career and don’t miss Eudazio’s athlete profile below, provided by MANERA.
Eudazio was born in Cumbuco, Brazil. The perfect kiting conditions there have made that place a real incubator for many of the most gifted kiteboarders on the planet. Eudazio is one of them, and probably the most experienced. His strength and style have earned him 3 Brazilian National Championship titles and a top 10 finish on the PKRA 2 years in a row. Unfortunately, an injury delayed his access to the top, but he is now stronger and more motivated than ever. We are glad to have such a character joining our team!
What’s your name?
Eudazio da Silva
Where are you from and where are you currently living?
I’m from Cumbuco, Brazil and I am currently living in São Luís, Brazil.
Last thing you bought?
If you could wake up tomorrow in the body of someone else, who would it be?
It is a real Brazilian storm today on the tour, in your opinion, why are you all performing that good?
Good spots, good facilities to conduct young riders in Brazil or just the Brazilian competitive mindset?
A little of both, because we Brazilians have been fortunate to have the best place in the world to train, good wind, we are very supported in relation to sports and very competitive (laughs).
Do you prefer to be three times 3rd or one time 1st?
I prefer to be #1!
What is a standard Eudazio’s day?
As soon as I wake up, eat breakfast, go to the gym, then get ready for the first training session. I spend 2 hours training in the morning, stop for lunch, and after 2 more hours of kiting ending late in the late afternoon, the night amuses me!
