Freeride State of Mind

Between the rush of freeride and the thrill of urban riding, I feel my passion for kiteboarding has its place. It’s not just a sport to me – it’s a way of life.
Kiteboarding is my ultimate freedom. It’s where I can leave everything else behind, push my limits, and continuously challenge myself — all while having an absolute blast doing it. There’s a raw joy in it that I’ve never found anywhere else.
I grew up skateboarding, always searching for new tricks and challenges. That same mindset has been transferred into my kiteboarding, where every spot is more than just water and wind — it’s a scene to explore. Swapping concrete for nature’s playground, I now experience the elements in all their extremes. From winter’s chill to summer’s heat, each season brings fresh energy and new opportunities. For me, it’s not just about riding the water, but about jumping onto whatever challenges the spot throws at me.
Some of what makes kiteboarding so exciting is its unpredictability. The wind and water are never the same, which keeps me on my toes. Each day is a new opportunity to adapt and embrace the adventure that’s unfolding right in front of me.
The gear I use plays a massive part in pushing my limits. A wetsuit that keeps me warm through freezing temps and icy waters gives me the confidence to keep evolving without holding back. With the right equipment, I’m able to ride harder and go further.
That love for urban freestyle — the feeling of grinding rails, jumping over gaps, and taking on new challenges — is deeply part of every session. For me, kiteboarding isn’t just about the wind and water; it’s about the entire experience a spot offers. I’m constantly inspired by the world around me — the land, the people, and the unexpected opportunities for exploration off the water.
It’s this combination of freestyle, freeride, and big air that brings so many wild and exciting ways to have fun. And the Ride Engine Hyper Lock system gives me the flexibility to adjust and adapt to the conditions quickly and smoothly. It’s like the perfect tool for my ever-evolving riding style.
I feel completely at home when I’m out there on the water, wind in my face, and water beneath me. That indescribable feeling where everything aligns, and I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. In those moments, nothing else matters — just pure connection with the moment, with the elements, and with the endless possibilities that kiteboarding brings.
This is more than just a sport; it’s a way of living, a journey of constant discovery and joy.
