Brunotti are proud to announce their new 2015 Riptide, lighter, thinner and with more control due to the ADR-Tech.
The Riptide is slightly smaller than a traditional men’s board, and with just a bit more flex, the Riptide offers a very comfortable ride. Rides upwind easily, and has enough pop for big tricks with the right flex for easy landings. Easy planing and cornering is provided by the double concave, and the dual channels add extra grip. The extra channels on heel- and toeside provide the rider with additional control, even in the hardest conditions. To produce the perfect ride they added flextips and an active rocker, which results in a controllable pop. Combined with the reduced weight, this will launch you even higher in the air. Together with the new ADR-Tech sidewall, this makes a perfect board for both freeride and freestyle.
ADR-tech is Brunotti’s no-compromise solution when it comes to freeride/ freestyle. It provides a superlative grip due to the sharp rail, which also results in exceptional upwind performance. Maximum freestyle performance is achieved by the strong rail stiffness, which creates huge pop. Overall handling in choppy conditions is very good due to the small contact surface.
For everyone who likes to ride boots we fitted the Riptide with our FBP insert blocks with 4 positions. These can handle a maximum static pulling force of 280kg per insert. This means the both pairs can hold up more than 1000kg!
