If you’ve been around for a while then you’ll know all about Niccolo Porcella, he was the pre-teen kiting wunderkind back before any of the stars of today were famous. With ability and determination in equal measure he quickly rose to being one of the best junior riders on the circuit and was a regular in the line up for Maui’s waves. The story didn’t go quite to plan though he had a disastrous wrist reconstruction after a skateboarding accident and this is the story of how he fought back from that to become one of the most respected strapless riders in the world.
