KTA Indonesia – Bintan Day 3
Day 3 of KTA Bintan finally saw the sun coming out to make the freestyle single eliminations shining, with Kristiin Oja ( North – Estonia ) winning the finals against Victoria Soloveykina ( Best – Russia ), and Long Nguyen Duc ( Kinn Team – Vietnam ) winning his first finals ever in a KTA event against 2 times Asian Champion Yo Narapichit Pudla ( Ozone – Thailand ).
Big surprise from the Boracay kid Christan Tio ( North – Philippines ), who stepped up big time since last year, throwing out slims, 313s and other stylish passes with an impressive ease. The kid is 11 years old and wasn’t allowed to unhook until his 10th birthday !
The day ended with 3 more Twin-tip races and 2 more for the raceboards. Atte Kappel ( Flysurfer – Sweden ) is the man to watch as he won 90% of his Twin-tip races so far …
