The ISAF meeting starts in Dublin tomorrow, it’s the final vote that will decide whether or not kitesurfing stays in the Olympics. After some heavy lobbying from the windsurfers who have been displaced from the Olympics in Rio it will be an interesting few days to see what decisions get made.
The IKA is pushing to keep the current “Formula Kite” format which involves a Box Rule rather than One Design… They have released this great video to promote the sport and keep the current format at the forefront of the ISAF decision making process!
You have to admit the discipline looks pretty amazing compared to windsurfing in light winds…
