A Quick Tour Round The Airush Offices in South Africa
As I am sure many of you are aware we are out in South Africa at the moment and this provided us with the perfect excuse to pop our heads round the door of the Airush offices and say hello to Marc Schmid who we regularly speak to. Based out of Muizenberg near Cape Town the team moved here recently to make the most of the amazing conditions for testing. They were previously based in Thailand and the conditions are, shall we say, just a little bit windier!

Most of the team is now based here, including the Kite Designer Mark Patterson and Product Designer Tom Williams. For Mark it means he has the perfect playground to test the prototypes that get shipped over from China, make changes and keep on testing to ensure the kites are perfect. Tom has just had a new CNC Machine installed in their board shaping lab just a short walk from the office, allowing him to develop new ideas right on the beach and implement them straight away.

It’s a young dynamic team at the head office, all focused on trying new ideas and improving on the existing product to keep Airush at the top of the game. The team have big plans for the future and we look forward to working with them over the coming years!
