The VKWC was hotly contested again this year with Gisela, Karolina and Bruna all within striking distance of the title, had we seen a full event calendar the competition would have been fantastic to watch, in the end Gisela took the win but all three girls are deserved nominees for the Best Female Rider award. Colleen Carroll was as ever pushing the limits on the wakestyle side of things, another solid showing sees her nominated once again. Jalou Langeree would probably be the World Champion in the waves if only there was a tour for her to showcase her talents. She gets a nomination again for being so impressive regardless of the lack of a world tour event for her to win...
